Who we are

This site is operated by Zolle Ltd, trading as VETIX®, a company registered in England & Wales, company number 15512262, registered office 21 Goldfinch Drive, Preston, PR4 0ZR, VAT registration number GB512215149. Zolle Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through vetixpets.com.

What we collect, and why

Email address, if you give it to us

If you join our mailing list we collect the email address you enter and the date you submitted it. We use it to send you VETIX® product news, feeding guidance and related content.

• Lawful basis: consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give it by submitting the form; you can withdraw it at any time.
• How to withdraw: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us. Withdrawal does not affect anything sent before you withdrew.
• How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe, or after 24 months of no engagement, whichever is first.
• Who processes it: MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania), our email service provider, acting as our processor on our instructions.

Technical and usage data

Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

• Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — operating and securing the site.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

This site sets one optional cookie: the Meta Pixel, which we use to understand how people arrive at and move through this site and to measure our advertising. It is not set unless you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit.

• Lawful basis: consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), obtained through the cookie banner before the pixel loads, as required by PECR.
• Who receives it: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, which acts as an independent controller for its own purposes. Meta’s own privacy policy applies to what it does with the data.
• How to change your mind: use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works identically either way.
• How long your choice lasts: we store your accept-or-reject decision in your browser for 12 months, then ask again.

We set no other analytics or advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics or comparable tracking on vetixpets.com.

Links to Amazon

"Buy on Amazon" links take you to amazon.co.uk. Amazon is a separate controller and its own privacy notice applies once you arrive there. We may attach an Amazon Attribution tag to those links so we can see how many visits and orders came from this site; that reporting reaches us in aggregate.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the processors named above, and with anyone we are legally required to disclose it to. Meta is not a processor for us — where you accept the pixel, Meta acts as an independent controller.

International transfers

Our email service provider is based in the European Union, which the UK recognises as providing an adequate level of protection. Where any other processor stores or processes data outside the UK, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@vetixpets.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of the page.
